Sometimes the demands of the environment exceed capacity

We’re coming to the end of ADHD month, which started with the news that no one taking medication for the condition wants to hear……there’s a shortage of ADHD drugs.

And at Let’s All Talk Mental Health, we just hope that if this is affecting you or someone in your family right now, we really hope that the situation is rectified as soon as possible.  You can read more about it HERE.

I have no doubt it’s causing a great deal of worry for some people and we thought we would discuss the condition and ways to help,  with a very knowledgeable guest expert.

ADHD OVERWHELM – “Sometimes the demands of the environment exceed capacity”

I’ve been thinking a lot about that comment from Dr Tamasine Black.

Tamasine has 2 decades of experience working with individuals and families, and spoke with us about ADHD and learning difficulties.

She was fabulous and had so many tips on how to help our young people, including what to do if they’re feeling totally overwhelmed and how to prevent them from getting to that stage.  Her webinar is well worth watching if you missed it, and you can do that HERE.

And you can find out more about Tamasine through her website https://tablapsychology.co.uk/.

We’ve not quite finished with her yet though, they’ll be a bit more from Tamasine in our newsletter which we’ll send out over half term.

Next live webinar – Social Anxiety

Social anxiety and teens with our resident clinical psychologist, Dr Sarah-Jane Knight.

Anxiety is a subject that regularly comes up in the questions we receive,  so we’re devoting some much needed time to it.

Join us if it’s something that’s affecting your family.  Sarah Jane will have some useful advice and support to offer.

To access it and all of our expert sessions, you can subscribe for just £5 a month. 6 and 12 month memberships are also available at £30 and £50 respectively

A subscription not only gains entry into more than 30 LIVE webinars, but also access to our full on-demand library and you can find out how to subscribe HERE.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you’ll join us on the 30th.
